The aim of this site
It would generate great warmth in my heart if through these pages, there grows in you the same sense of awe and wonder at the mysteries of Creation and Creator, which can reveal themselves when we give honest and heartfelt attention to the relationship between the events playing out in our lives, personally, nationally and globally, simultaneously with our spiritual development. It takes a little time to build understanding on both sides, but when you begin to feel and see real results and understand its value, it becomes an all encompassing delight to do. It not only helps you to become a more sincere and honest person, it also helps you to navigate life experiences in a more beneficial, relevant and purposeful manner.
Your thoughts, actions and way of being matter. Through the pages of this website, I hope to share some considerations on why the world is the way it is and what you can do about it. But first, we must open ourselves up the the possibility that whatever we think we understand about God and Christianity may not be the case. And while the various religions, like any large-scale formal instution can be hijacked, twisted and eventually depart from its original message, I’d like to suggest to you here that it is only in adhering to true, actual and embodied Christian values that a true relationship with reality, as well as a sense of peace can be found in yourself and the world around you.
If you shut the door to this potential for development, you may not come to any real understanding of the things that matter and continue to live in a deceptive illusion. That may sound blunt, but it is not only my experience, it is my embodied and felt understanding. Real Christianity is a lot more revealing, a lot stranger and a lot more exciting than you can possibly imagine. But it is entirely up to you. You must take the first step.
Through attending to this work perspectives shift and reality deepens, opening up a way of being and seeing that frees you from irrelevance and erroneous thinking, leaving you more balanced, healthy, and clear to focus on what really matters.
The question then is – do you really want to know? Change will be required of you and this is where most people turn away. I assure you, if my experience and that of many others is anything to go by, nothing is of greater value.

The Inspiring Christian
The word ‘inspire’ has its roots in the Latin word inspirare which means to breathe into or to inflame with divine influence.
This means sharing the results of a lifetime of wondering about life, as well as my more recent scholarly and contemplative study of the deep truths contained within scripture and the writings of scholars, saints and mystics. It also means sharing certain perceptions of life and the felt experience through individual experiences, how they should and should not be interpreted, and how to develop personal attention to, and understanding of, how God is working in our lives right now – whether we know it or not, whether we feel it or not and whether we like it or not.
That yawning gap inside many people which they try, and are actively encouraged in fact, to fill with distraction, entertainment, activity, drama, drugs, escapism, anything but reality, can only be truly satisfied and the heart and mind freed from what could perhaps be described as an orchestrated form of slavery, with an earnest attention to truth, and the seeing through and dispelling of the falsehood in and around us. Let me convince you that Christianity provides an excellent framework through which to explain and navigate the world. Through honest enquiry and sharing we learn to reject the evil and choose the good. We come to revere, in awe, the source of our being. We learn to enter into a real and tangible relationship with our divine creator in spirit and truth. Personally, I can think of no greater, and more wholesome and worthwhile undertaking than this.
